2. I went and bought a program at the college book store that included a video, and some flash cards. Excet Master, I think. I gave up on the video, but used the flascards, and the system to go along with them. 3. I got the book Pass the Excet on Your First Try. There are several worksheets in there. I made several copies of them and fileld them out over and over again. Then I posted the completed ones everywhere. On the bathroom mirror, on the back of doors, the refrigerator, and place that I knew I would spend time. Then I would glance at them. The thing to I learned, and had to get use to is this: The wording of the questions can somtimes seem backwards as far as your answer choices. I just memorized the question formats instead of just the answers, and kept repeating my work until I was taking the practice test under time and at 100% accuracy. I do believe that if I had tried to take the test while teaching, I too would have failed. It is definitely something that you need to be able to devote several hours a week to studying. If you don't have several hours at a time to study, the flash cards are great, then. You can carry them with you anywhere, and when you have a free five minutes, you can review some of them. Feel free, either one of you, to email me, if you need any encouragement or help.
