cursive writing

I am currently teaching fifth grade. I had a student treansfer into the district that could not write in cursive. I was shocked to say the least and so were the other children. I borrowed a secondgrade writing bok and well he can do it all. It was a long hall but would make up little sayings to go along with the letter. I taught Kindergarten last year and did the same thing when teaching them to print it was so much fun. Do not be afraid just wing it. You will do great!!
