cursive writing
By olivia

Clip to ScrapBook
i think it will be exciting to teach kids how to write in cursive. but then again, i teach older kids who already know how to do it. but, i remember when i was in 3rd grade i was so excited to be able to write like a big
kid. so i would just start off by telling them that they are learnign a new and exciting type of writing. i'm sure most of them already know what it is, and may already be trying their own forms of cursive at home ( i know i did!). then, i guess i would have them practice writing in the air and maybe having fun with cursive. like putting sand on a paper plate and have them practice writing
their letters that way. it's messy, but it's fun too. who knows. but don't worry too much about it. sure, it's a difficult concept to teach but it should be a fun one too! good luck
