Stick with it!

I have to agree with Sue D. I have been teaching for 8 years. My first three years were my roughest and looking back I can see how much I have grown professionally. There are so many things to learn how to do when you first start...it is plain old survival! It gets easier to manage all the paper work and you also become familiar with curriculum. So many teachers are leaving teaching for legitimate reasons, but we need good teachers to keep teaching! Focus on the positive every day! Hang around those teachers who are positive-the ones you think are great teachers-it is important to have a support group that can help you keep going. I hope you can work through it. Good luck!
