going back
By Barb

Clip to ScrapBook
I know exactly how you feel, Cindy. I have been teaching quite a few years and I do love my class - and I love my job most of the time- but i am definitely not looking forward to going back so soon. We go back on Jan. 3
also. It is just nice being able to spend an evening or a weekend without having stacks of papers or meetings or any of the hundreds of other things teachers have to do. It almost seems like relaxing is over until the next break. But I also agree with another poster who said that the dread of going back is worse than what it will be when we actually get there. I have decided to "take
it easy" on Thursday and Friday when we go back and ease into school again gradually I'm sure the kids are no more anxious than I am to return to the regular routine - and homework!!! Thanks for sharing this. It makes me feel a little better to know that I am not the only one who feels this way. And, Elaine, I have a doctor's appointment for a complete physical on the 2nd that I was not looking forward to, but I would rather be doing that having a root canal. Good luck.
