Clip to ScrapBook
I taught in a school like the original post does. I had meetings with the principal each week during a prep. Everything was discussed, lesson plans for the prior week and the upcoming week, and everything was "fine".
Well...at lunchtime when I'd check my mailbox, I'd have an official typed note stating things that were "wrong" or "needed improvement". The original copy was for my file. After three months, I quit. I hated the fact that I was lied to to my face and then felt ridiculed.
I went back to subbing and now I am making more money and have 100% less stress. I'd like to have my own class, and I learned alot from that experience, but I don't regret leaving.
Good luck to you.
