Hi! I work in an inner-city school and the behavior at this school is beyond ridiculous... Most of the teachers in the school are exasperated with the behavior problems and the lack of consequences, so they went to our union
rep. Profanity being a problem we were informed that the "head honchos" downtown wanted to know about any profanity aimed at a teacher and in severe circumstances (threats, etc.) we were to contact the department of education in our state... In addition, because of the complaints over the way discipline is handled we are having a faculty meeting to try and work out a discipline plan

as a staff... (we have a new principal who is trying to turn around the "work" of the previous principal - who was removed) I don't know if any of this info. helps...Good luck!
