I know for a fact that I was dumped on because this was my first year at this school. When the class rosters came out some older teachers that had been here forever threw fits about certain kids that they didn't want. Well,
surprise! They then ended up on my list! The principal told me he would help me with them because he knew they were difficult. Guess how much help I have gotten! None, zero, zip, zilch! When I have had to send one of these children to the office (which I have done rarely) they were "counseled" and sent right back with no consequences. It has been really rough. I also get all of the new

kids that come from other places knowing nothing. I have gotten 4th graders that cannot read and do not qualify for special ed. I am still supposed to work miracles and get them to pass the state tests though.
