I guess I am not the only one...

I too stay way to late. I am in my fourth year of teaching and still stay at school until 7-8 pm. I have realized that my time in school needs to be just that. I don't want to bring home anymore work. That is also what happens. I stay late and bring home work to do. It has caused me to burn out. This year has been a bit easier but, my principle just told me that I have to move to a new grade level. Now that means starting all over. Everything from learning the new curriculum to making a new welcome back sign! I am sick of the work. Ever since I have learned this, I haven't been able to sleep. I am starting to look for ways to make more money, so I can retire early. You are not alone...it is good to hear that I am not too! robin
