Parents!

I TOTALLY AGREE!I started teaching 3 weeks ago. I was proud of the way I had kept my head above water until THIS WEEK. Parent, parents, parents. I think they think you're superwoman (or man). It's already hard enough | being first year. It's all the extra stuff you have to do to deal with them. It's driving me crazy. This week has been parent after parent wanting some freaky thing from me. Here's a classic example: One parent wants me to write a DAILY note to the parents explaining the homework. Isn't there directions on the assignment? What more do they want? I guess you can tell my frustration | |
level is at an all time high. It's funny - actual teaching is the easy part. I'm sure things will get better, but sometimes it doesn't feel like I'm going to make it. Good luck to all those new teachers out there!
