I am not a first year teacher--I like to visit all boards on ProTeacher. I did not have arthritis when I began teaching but was diagnosed my first year with fibromyalgia and I didn't want to say anything to my principal. He has been so wonderful when I have talked to him about it now. Just thought I 'd add that.
