homework

I teach fifth grade. Every night there is a spelling and a math assignment. Any unfinished work from class or projects may be assigned. For example: I assign a science project or research assignment which is due by a certain date. The same holds true of a book report. I don't think my homework assignments should take more than thirty minutes a night to complete. I do have a heart. The kids' day is long enough without adding an hour or so a night of homework.
