office referrals and incompetant principals
By Dooley

Clip to ScrapBook
It is a shame and disgrace how sorry many principals are these days! Some principals say it is a teacher's job to discipline. OK. When you tell an 8th or 9th grader to sit down, be quiet while you are teaching etc and the student stubbornly refuses to follow orders, you kind of have to write an office referral. I am so sick of kids getting a 10 minute after school detention for talking back, defying class rules etc. I am sick of office referrals taking several days to be processed and little punishment given to the student!
