Referrals
By Principals are wrong

I don't have any advice, but I hear you. I teach fifth grade, and I have more or less quit writing referrals because of the principal's harrassment. The thing that bothers me is that there are your paltry classroom punishments, and then the big gun, THE REFERRAL. But since the principal is so anti-referral, the big gun usually has to stay in its case, and I'm left fighting a losing battle.
