Calendar Countdown

At our calendar time we have counted the days of school in 3 way. Once with the sticks, then in coin form, and then they colored in a star on a number line that corresponded with the day. Since we have made it to the 100th day of school we have stopped coloring in the stars and now we count down the days until summer vacation. I also have the calendar helper write the number down so that they also work on their number writing skills.
