peace.

sounds like many of you are frustrated and tired at work, and you are taking it out on OTHER posters on this board.

as a new teacher at my school (and in the public school district), i am glad that the staff
is CARING and SUPOPRTIVE enough to mind their own business when i don't ask for their opinions, AND they GIVE GENTLE ADVICE when i ask humbly for advice. all teachers have a first year...and i think we all know how it feels.
as for this board, even though this is my fifth year of teaching (i previously taught in a middle class private school...now i teach in an urban public school), i

enjoy having a feeling of "yeah i know how that is" when i read the first year teacher's posts. some of the experienced teachers who read this board are going through NEW ISSUES which make them feel like FIRST YEAR TEACHERS. i think it is unfair to limit people as the first poster has attempted to do.

however, you can do yo thang as you see fit.

it's just not cool, in my opinion, to have all of this hostility flying around at a time when teachers need the most support. i don't know about the rest of you, but i am really exhausted. i value the opinions and advice of ALL teachers, as long as the intent is genuinely sensitive and sincere. some of you guys just want to snipe at others - which is unfortunate.

anyway, i will cut this short. i don't want to add to the negativity here. this post is just a rambling observation.
