Just wanted to share this: a friend of mine was having a difficult time getting a full-time teaching position. She subbed a lot and even subbed for a librarian who was returning to teaching full-time. My
She LOVES this job. She says she has to come up with 6 lesson plans per week (one for each grade level; lessons on library skills). She says she is out the door by 4, with no baggage: no papers to correct, no parent calls to make, etc, etc.... This might be something that is interesting to you. You still get to be around kids, and teach them also. And just think, if you have a tough group of kids, you have them for just 30 or 40 minutes. Another thing I'd like to throw in while I'm at it: please keep in mind that the first year can be terribly difficult..........things might very possibly get better, they really might
