I call it the trickle-down theory. When David's there, he just does horrendous things. This causes the two kids with the next-worst behavior to act up. Suddenly all of those little run-of-the mill talkers (ordinarily somewhat tolerable) are driving you insane! Yet when that one bad kid isn't there, the whole situation seems tolerable. As the other poster says, you are lucky you got two weeks. At my school, this little "angel" would be back in your room instantly, and the principal would admonish you for not taking care of the problem yourself.
