first year's hard enough w/o extra paperwork!

I'm a new teacher, too & getting bogged down in paperwork. First year is always the hardest because you have to CREATE all these lesson plans while your co-horts simply open a file cabinet & pull out a whole unit! If your
workplace is of that nature, why not see if your team can work together & split up the paperwork load regarding "official" lesson plans. I know, some teachers refuse to share, but some are very open! If they are all in the same boat, having to write up plans, they may be open to the suggestion of splitting the load. (We did this a lot in college). I've been pulling out all those lesson
plans we had to do for resource files in college! A few adjustments & they're good for go! This has saved me time, along with lesson plan sharing!
Good Luck and MAKE SURE YOU SAVE ALL THOSE LESSON PLANS FOR THE FUTURE! Then YOU can simply open a file cabinet & pull out lessons all ready to go!
