frustrated?

I am currently finishing up college and am preparing to go on in my schooling to receive a credential. The only thing is that I always hear horror stories about how tough it is in the teaching profession and as you mentioned the first years (which seems like a long time!) are the toughest. Can you give me any encouragement or even lay it out flat on what I should be expecting when entering the teaching profession? Thank you
