Here are the major problems
By Frustrated but not quitting ei

Clip to ScrapBook
I am a first-year teacher. Although I have not decided to quit, I, like so many others, have had moments where I definitely considered quitting. The following are reasons why I think many people want to quit or actually
do quit:

1) unsupportive principals who are never satisfied with what you do
2) paperwork you practically drown in
3) students with major behavior problems who ruin it for everyone when you try to do something non-traditional in the classroom
4) families where school decisions are not supported and learning is not encouraged

These are what I see as the major irritating factors

in my career. As I read through the posts on this website every single day, I think it is safe to say that these issues are the driving force between many a teacher's frustration and decision to quit.
