Same situation
By Frustrated fifth grade "team"

Crystal, I am in the EXACT same situation. I am a new teacher on a fifth-grade team with two other teachers. One is a fourth-year teacher who is not respected by the administration or other teachers. She is crabby with kids and doesn't seem to be a very responsible teacher. The other is new to the school and doesn't want to have anything to do with us and leaves early, but is very popular with the principal. The other grade-level teams at my school are very friendly and share ideas. I want a team, too.
