Thank you Sally, you have seen this work too. OK, so it is fake at first, but by being "the bigger person" you might just get her to change her ways. If you don't, then chalk it up to experience, but you have to try it to get rid of the resentment that's eating you up. It won't do you or your health any good. Teaching is a tough enough job without being in a situation where you can't even get a break from the stress when you are with your colleagues. In the meantime, have a look at a posting on the Inspirations page. It is a story about frogs. I've already printed it off to enlarge, highlight and put up somewhere in school where all the teachers can read it. Good luck and I wish you peace and peace of mind.
