i have decided to quit. i will give in my resignation after thanksgiving, so they will have enough time to find a replacement. i totally hate it. the principal is tooooooooo strict. there is no other way but hers. i
am going to go back to subbing and take my lumps. i'm too old to be feeling sick every morning and crying every afternoon. my daughter thinks that it's sad mommy is sad. i worked really, really hard (6 years) to get here and i feel like if i'm not happy here, then there is something better out there somewhere. also, as far as the children go, i believe that they may be better off with

another teacher because if i continue the way i feel, i won't be good for them, and they matter to me. how effective can i be if i hate it there? i'll miss them, of course, but they'll be better off. just my thoughts. you sound more "together" than me. let us know what happens.
