Hi,

This is my first year teaching too and I am starting to get the feeling of loving teaching. I think it just takes time to get into the swing of things at a new school, get used to your own management system, and get
to know the kids. Some things did not go well my first 9 weeks so I sat down and thought about what I could do to change the situation. Now that I've made some improvements and adjustments to my behavior management plan and started using more positive reinforcement I can honestly say things are running much more smoothly. I don't really have any suggestions for you, but just a complete

understanding of what you're going through right now. Some of the students in my university program feel the same way you do too. I've talked to some seasoned veteran teachers and they've said it took them a couple of years to start to like it. Hang in there!
