This is also my first year teaching. I wasn't enjoying it at the beginning of the year. I was so overwhelmed and worried about getting all the subjects in everyday. My classroom management wasn't the greatest, I couldn't
get the kids to quiet down, the list could go on. I still have a problem with keeping everything organized.
Rather than giving up on the idea of teaching. I took some time reflecting on what I was doing. I looked at which strategies worked and which ones didn't. I made some changes in the way I was teaching. Things are going so much better for me now. I can honestly say that I

really enjoy teaching. I think that once I get a year under my belt, I will love. Several of my friends from my education classes, who are also in their first year, are having the same feeling as you. So far none of them can say that they love teaching. Don't give up!
