writing topics
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
My kids all keep writer's notebooks in which 'seeds' (topics/ideas) are planted. We share these with one another as needed in order to spark someone's thoughts / imagination. Also, when the kids first come in each morning, as they're talking with one another before announcements, I encourage them to add seeds then. When we share books together and someone makes a comment about a connection they've made, I remind them to add that to their notebook.
