    IN MY OPINION, YOU SHOULD MODEL ONE PARAGRAPH AT A TIME WHEN THEY BEGIN TO WRITE. AS TO THE RESEARCH, BRAINSTORM 3 MAIN CATEGORIES FOR 3 PARAGRAPHS THAT YOU WANT EACH STUDENT TO WRITE ABOUT. FOR EXAMPLE, YOU MAY WANT TO INCLUDE HABITAT, EATING PATTERNS, AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION. THIS WAY, ALL STUDENTS WILL BE WRITING APPROXIMATELY THE SAME TYPE OF PAPER AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MODEL EACH PARAGRAPH, USING THE WORM AS AN EXAMPLE. I ALSO SUGGEST INVESTIGATING SOME WEBSITES AND GIVING THESE ADDRESSES TO THE STUDENTS. YOU MAY WANT TO ALSO CHECK OUT SOME BOOKS FOR YOUR CLASSROOM. YOU COULD ACTUALLY DO THE RESEARCH IN CENTERS. GOOD LUCK! (PS. I TEACH FIFTH GRADE READING, SCIENCE, AND HEALTH. I ALSO TEACH FIFTH GRADERS HOW TO RESEARCH AND WRITE AN INFORMATIONAL PAPER. THIS YEAR IT IS ON ENERGY SOURCES!)
