In the Fountas/Pinnel book, Guiding Readiers and Writer- the gurus of guided reading, there is achapter specifically devoted to teaching what they consider a "genre" of readiang- test taking. It ahs key words to reinforce and so much mroe. This is a very valuable and comprehensive resource to look for. If you do not have this book, possibly reading coordinator may have- we do guided reading throughout our building so all of us have it- it is huge and full of awesome infor- the teating chapter is towards the end-
