State Testing
By christy

Clip to ScrapBook
I also teach fourth grade. Most of my students are English Language Learners and I only have two reading at grade level. The rest are at third grade and all the way down to primer. It is also my first year. So I know how you feel.
I agree with the other response. There is only so much you can do. I have worked really hard to do as much as I can for my kids. But, their history does figure into it. You can't expect all of them to make enormous leaps and bounds in one year. I'll be happy with them showing some/any growth from last year. Look at their scores from last year and do some test prep activities to help them prepare in their weaker areas. Good luck!
