Burping
By MG

Clip to ScrapBook
I don't know what grade you have, but I have 4th and this works fo me. When a really stupid behavior starts popping up (we had the falling out of your chair thing when school first started) I just make several nonchalant remarks about how in 4th grade we should be past this and it should not be funny anymore. I say something like "Wow, I thought only first graders thought it was funny to fall out of their chair. I guess you're not over that yet." It only takes a couple of remarks for the rest of the kids to stop laughing at it. They start saying things like "That's not funny anymore." Once the audience isn't into it anymore the performer quits his gig. You can use peer pressure to your advantage to stop silly behaviors.
