Your ideas are putting me off to a great start. I am reading this in a sixth grade classroom, and it will be for the most part a read aloud, with the students and I reading back and forth. Most of the activities will be during class or homework, and I love the one you suggested about following the character throughout the book! I'll keep in touch on how it goes!
