Social Studies help
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Shannon,
There is a wonderful profession book called, Ways That Work which will bring SS to life in your classroom. Not just for your struggling readers, for all your students. The ideas integrate the Language Arts and other disciplines. Another thought is to use the strategies from Strategies That Work and Goodbye Round Robin (comprehension) to assist in helping them with the strategies they need to create and maintain meaning on nonfiction texts. If you'd like informtion on publishers or specifics before you try to obtain any of these, just post or email. ;-D
