parts of speech
By Kate

Clip to ScrapBook
You must get MadLibs. I use them with my students when we have fifteen minutes or so to fill. All my students have learned their parts of speech without a formal lesson. I ask the kids for a noun, they have to tell me what a noun is and then give one. We go down the list and then I read the story the class created. They even ask to use them during free time.
