Mardi Gras
By Jenny

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi..here are a couple of ideas that might help.

*Buy cheap masks and hot glue a wooden stick on them. Decorate with feathers, sequins, and beads.

*Buy a bunch of bead necklaces. Play games and see who can collect the most. There are many ways you could have them earning teh necklaces. You could use educational thing or games.

*Have them research Mardi Gras. You could put them in groups and let each group research the way Mardi Gras is celebrated in different cities. For example, one group could have New Orleans, one St. Louis, one Paris, etc. They could then make a brochure of why you should celebrate mardi gras in their city. They could do a short presentation for it.
