Review Games

Clip to ScrapBook
Card Review:

1. Students use a deck of cards - only need aces through nines and all others may be removed.
2. Students pair up - or small groups.
3. Each student needs paper and pencil.
4. Students draw one
card (tens column of first number), then another (ones column of first number), then again (tens column of second number), and again (ones column of second number)
5. For example a draw of ace, five, seven, eight would make the problem 15 X 78.
6. Each person in the pair/group draws four cards and makes a problem in this way.
7. The person with the largest product is the "winner."

Game

Board Review

1. Fill a game board with two digit numbers.
2. Pick a range for the products - for example, all products must be between 400 and 500.
3. Students play in pairs or small groups.
4. When it is the student's turn he/she puts two markers on the board.
5. All students in pair/group multiply to find the answer.
6. If the answer is between 400 and 500 the markers stay on the board. If the answer is outside this range then the markers are removed.
7. The first group/pair to cover the board is the winner.

Hope these help!!!!!
