state history and projects
By Martha

Clip to ScrapBook
I found in our local teaching store a set of blank state posters for he kids to fill in based on the state you are studying. The posters are really cute and could be an ongoing assignment as you study your state. Also the ##### web site has great info on every state and activities your kids could do.
Have you tried giving each student a city in yourstate and have them write to that chamber to get info and then doing a travel poster and report on that city?
I also assigned to the students to do an ABC book on our state. This is a yearlong project due the end of May.
