Here is my suggestion: If you have assorted worksheets, projects etc. that are not really thematic or a part
As for organizing your units: I have purchased several 14 gallon rubbermaid containers with lids (math, social studies, science/health, etc). I file all of my grade level units in these bins. I actually have one entire bin dedicated to back to school. My smaller units are kept in pocket folders and the larger units are in binders that are clearly marked and placed inside the appropriate bin. I then used tag board to make large dividers for each unit. I really like these portable bins because I can take my files home with me whenever I want. If you switch grade levels, the bins can be easily stored in a garage or basement. I hope this helps some. It has really helped me! All of my student teachers are now doing the same thing and they have found it to be very successful. Joy
