Reading Area! By red

In my reading area I have a banner that says "Royal Reading Rug" I have a purple area rug, throw pillows, and thrones for the kids to sit in while they read.

I made the thrones by buying plastic lawn chairs and spray painting them gold. Then I hot glued "gem stones" (from the craft section of Wal-Mart) on them.

It is cute! My sixth graders like it becuase it is not too babyish, but is still a special place in the room.
