I usually do craft centers during my Christmas party. If you have parent volunteers this is a good idea. This year we will be doing the following:

1. Flower pot snowmen

2. decorating gift sacks

3. making christmas cards

4. peppermint candy garland

5. frosting Christmas Cookies

I usually rotate centers about every 15-20 minutes. When everyone gets through, I pop in a Christmas Video or I have a parent volunteer play games with them while the rest of us clean up. I usually send a letter home asking for parent volunteers and donations for supplies. I have done this for the last 2 years and it works really well. Good luck.
