When I was in my student teaching days, a school that I was placed at did not have a lot of funding.....the teacher in that classroom just used the overhead projected on the chalkboard or whiteboard. The students would go to the board and use chalk or dry erase markers to add to what the teacher had displayed on the overhead.....it worked quite well. Hope this helps.
