St. Patty's Day
By MaryAnn

Clip to ScrapBook
I have had the kids make a Claddaugh. It is the symbol with the hands holding a heart with a crown on top. I'm sure you have seen it. The heart is a symbol of love, hands friendship, and crown loyalty. We cut out a heart, trace our hands, and I usually copy a crown for them to cut out. I computer generate the explanation for everyone including the parents and assemble it on a piece on construction paper. The interesting fact to me is that this symbol which you can find on jewelry .... is typically an Irish wedding ring. Have fun, MaryAnn
