4 Blocks

Our school uses the Open Court Phonics program in addition to the Four Blocks model, as they also found the phonics component lacking. The 1st-3rd teachers have some trouble fitting everything in, but are otherwise satisfied using both. I teach K, so we use the Building Blocks framework which is the precursor to the Four Blocks. I have been very pleased with the Building Blocks program and the children's progress, though we also use Open Court to supplement phonics/phonemic awareness.
