Cat in the Hat
By Tracy

Clip to ScrapBook
This year we are going to make Cat in the Hat hats. You can use a paperplate for the base (cut out the middle) and red and white construction paper for the top hat. The Cat in the Hat could read a short story to your class, you could tell the Cat in the Hat some information you learned about him, or you could have a "surprise" birthday party. When he comes in your class could yell "surprise" you could eat cupcakes and sing Happy Birthday. These are just a few ideas that I've used in the past. Hope they're of some help. Good Luck!
