Hi
I make an overhead of a comic from the newspaper...and use the speaking parts of the comic to introduce the quotations. Of course I look for the cutest or funniest comic I can find to grab the kids interest. Then I hand out comics to all the kids and have them cut and paste them onto paper. I have them make the little thought bubbles and use the quotations to make what their character is saying. They love it!
