I have several that I like to do if not too pushed for time. We make necklaces with yarn and the kids count out 100 Fruit Loops and string them. We also make 100 day glasses. I made a pattern years ago by blowing up a picture in a 100 day resource book. My kids use magic marker stampers and stamp 100 pictures of their choice onto their glasses. I usually fix three estimation jars..only one with 100 M andMs or jellybeans etc. They sign up under the jar they think has 100..winners share the jar. I also bake 100 mini-cupcakes and let them decide how to share them fairly..they then get to ice their | | own (canned frosting and a craft stick)and pig out. We go to the gym and see how far we can walk with 100 baby steps..then 100 giant steps. We bounce a ball 100 times and run 100 foot relays. we sing a song that I learned through NC's K-2 assessment..Ringo Rango tingo Tango Dinosaurs have shoes, I can count by twos and we count by twos to 100..or Dinosaurs have fun and count by one to 100, or Dinosarus have hives I can count by 5's etc. We read a poem with 100 words and make books with things that the children think up..I would love to have 100. I could eat 100, I could never eat 100..etc. These on lined pages shaped like 100 with only one sentence per page. We sing a 100 Day song to the tune of I've Been Working on the Railroad. We celebrated ours yesterday and had a lot of fun!!!!
