vowel song

A friend's former student teacher made up this song for her first graders. A child gets to wear an indian feather headband and beat a drum. It's called The Indian Song and the kids love it.
Capital vowel... say letter name. Lower case vowel... say short sound. Lead child beats drum on each short sound and lastly the BOOM!

a-e-i-o-u
I can sing an indian song
a-e-i-o-u
I can sing it all day long
A says a-a-a
E says e-e-e
I says i-i-i
O says o-o-o
U says u-u-u
I can sing an indian song
BOOM!

It has halped my students and many of my colleagues' too. Good luck!
