Oh, I just remembered an "AHA" moment from this fall. You can take a sheet of white paper or a photocopy of handwriting, or ANYTHING and slip it into a plastic sheet protector. Then you can write on the sheet protector with dry erase markers and erase them. We put ours onto a clipboard. They don't last forever, but they last several sessions, possibly a whole year. Ours are still going strong from September.
