ok cut out 1 square and 1 circle on red or pink construction paper. Ask the students "Did you know that these 2 shapes can make up a heart?" Have a moment for them to think.
Then tell them to put the sqaure diagonally (like a diamond) and have them cut the circle in half and put in on the two sides of the diamond. There they will have it! A Heart!
