rhymes to talk through the motion of cursive
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
I am a parent of a four year old in 4 K. He learned recognition and sounds of letters in print last year. This year they are learning the formation of letters by writing them in cursive. I'm working on some projects with him at home.

I'm doing an abc book with one practice sheet for cursive writing and making a corresponding collage with words that start with it.

My son seems to do well with auditory instruction. I need a rhyme or catchy saying to help him remember how to do the letter and make it more amusing. He's a little frustrated.
